"Wildlife in Wild Lights"
One of my 101 goals was to visit the Phoenix Zoo’s Zoo Lights. I have lived in Phx for 25 years and never been. Oh sure, I’ve been to the zoo plenty of times. But Zoo Lights. Never. So, the family dressed warm in our AZ Winter gear and headed out.

Four Months Already
Time is just flying by.
We had Miss Scratch’s 4 month wellness visit last week and she is doing really great.
Her stats:
Weight- 15lb2oz (82%…down from 95% at her 2 month)
Height- 26.5in (96%…slightly down from 97% at her 2 month)
Head- 46%…about the same as her 2 month.
The doctor seems really happy with how she was growing and Miss Scratch gave all the nurses and...
This is gonna be the year
I just know it. This is going to be the year that I complete LOTS of tasks off my Day Zero Project list.
So far I’ve only completed 24 out of 101. That’s pretty sad when you think that I’ve had about 15 months so far (456 days). That’s almost 1/2 the time and only 20% of the goal. Boy. Do I feel like a failure. Now…realistically, I know I’ll never completed all...

Is it possible that something could be just as painful as labor? Well, I’m not sure…but I do know something that is damn close.
Last Saturday at 8:45am, I made my way to Urgent Care. Since 2am I had been having back pain all down my left side. Really it felt like it was emanating from my kidneys. But I was pretty sure it wasn’t a kidney infection. I know what those feel like....

Scratch and I just took Miss Scratch on our first family vacation. Where you might ask, did we go? Visit family in San Diego? To Anaheim for Disneyland? Or what about Chicago and the Shedd Aquarium? Nope…we went to Vegas baby!

Ok…so we already knew that, but believe it or not Scratch and I still get asked whether Miss Scratch is a boy or girl. Personally, I think it’s sooo easy to tell…but I might be bias. Keepin' me guessing
Miss Scratch is less than 1 week from being 4 months old and STILL not sleeping through the night. Once in a while she will, but it is completely random when she does. We don’t do anything special those days, we don’t keep her up longer during the day or feed her more. It’s random! And frustrating!

Holiday Wrap-Up
Ok…so I have been an extremely bad blogger. I’m sorry. Life just got exponentially busier when Miss Scratch was born. In the beginning it was the time consuming feedings, then it was trying to keep her busy during her wake times and trying to keep her asleep during her nap times, now I am back to work and when I’m not working…I try to soak up as much of her (and housework)...
