OctMiss Scratch’s 1st Birthday-Decorations
I’m going to split Miss Scratch’s birthday pictures into a couple posts…since there are sooo many pictures (thanks to my sister in law).
Miss Scratch’s birthday was loosely cupcake themed with bright blue and dark pink as the colors. You’ll see what I mean as we go.
Pretty much everthing (except the cupcakes) were handmade by me. Plus I had LOTS of help assembling everything the night before and day of by my wonderful family.

The Favors- Cupcake Shooters
Basically just a layered filled cupcake in a baby food jar. We had 2 choices: White cake with cinnamon/sugar filling and cream cheese icing and Chocolate cake with a peanut butter filling and fudge icing.
The Dessert Table
Desserts included a giant cupcake (Funfetti cake with Strawberry Icing) for Miss Scratch’s smash cake, white cupcakes with whipped cream and sprinkles, white cupcakes with lemon whipped cream, white cupcakes with chocolate buttercream and sprinkles, chocolate cupcakes with raspberry filling and fudge icing, and chocolate cupcakes with chips ahoy icing. Then we had candy dipped marshmallows and oreo balls. We had a lot of extras to eat…not really complaining though.
The Outside
We had a large tent that we put several table and chairs under. The food and drinks were outside…so we did a little decorating out there too.
The Front Door
We have a dog. She liked to bark when people ring the doorbell or know on the door. We DID NOT want that to happen ALL afternoon. So, we put this sign up. It was cute in my head…but as soon as I did it I felt it may look like a ransom note. Oh Well! :)
