Nov30 Day Blog Challenge- Day 22
What you want your future to be like.
In my line of work I consistently deal with finding solutions to problems. Customers want things fixed right now. However, many times the fixes aren’t easy or fast. So right now isn’t possible. Lately, we’ve been “band-aid”ing their pain by doing things in the interim that will help, but not heal the problem while we still work on the overall fix. We’ve began calling them short-term, mid-term, and long-term solutions. I’m going to use that logic with my answer.
Short-Term Future:
1. Finish Scratch Jr.’s nursery
2. Scratch Jr arrives- Happy and Healthy
3. Scratch Jr is a great baby- read: not colicky
4. Miss Scratch transitions into being a big sister with ease.
Mid-Term Future:
1. Move into a bigger house that’s cheaper and closer.
2. Have one more babmino- a girl in 3 years
3. Scratch gets a good job that he enjoys, makes good money, and doesn’t work 60 hour weeks at.
4. Grandparents and Aunties move closer, so that they can be an active part of their grandchildren’s lives.
Long-Term Future:
1. Kids get scholarships to college.
2. Scratch and I retire at 55. Buy a RV and travel around the US, stopping at every casino.
3. Everyone lives happily ever after!
